analysis!
I got in contact with Pro Plan and asked for a more comprehensive analysis, explaining my task at hand and this was their response:-
" Thank you very much for contacting us regarding the Typical Analysis information for Pro Plan Kitten.
Unfortunately, we cannot give further information than is given on our website as this is commercially sensitive information.
However, if there is a particular ingredient you are enquiring about, please provide further information and we may be able to help you."
Science Plan Kitten Chicken
* Not noted but maybe calculated within fiber (crude).
My feelings were that Science Plan only offered a minimum of information and did not, under scrutiny, transpire to be particularly transparent or scientific!
The analysis below is of :-
Which ever food you decide to feed your kitten consider that variety is all. Kittens/cats enjoy variety. Thus it could be presumed a varied diet will be nutritionally best.

Feeding your kitten.
I have touched on variety and I think this is the best way to achieve nutritional balance and create daily interest for your kitten/cat.
Cooking chicken, seeming fish are all wondrous supplements to a staple diet.
Kitten milk, within those early months, boosts the kittens diet and has significant benefits to general development and calorific intake.
Wet food, keep to kitten brands, these are another important supplement to the dry food diet.
However cats are fussy and they may not allow for you to feed a variety of foods.
Start early and offer your kitten different foods; vegetables ie sweet corn and carrot. These cats do enjoy.
I don't know if I should stress the obvious but all the above is good for your kitten /cat but keep an eye on how delicate your kittens/cats tummy is when promoting variety.
